1. Be sure you have ALL your class materials:
We began a personal timeline in class. You wrote on post-it notes 7-10 important things that have happened in your life and placed them on a timeline in your journal. Show this timeline to a parent and have them help you choose the #1 most important or most interesting event that you would like to write a paragraph about. We will write this paragraph in class. With your parent brainstorm at least 5 facts about your Important/Interesting event. Write your 5 facts on your homework sheet or on a piece of lined notebook paper.
3. Bring at least 2 pictures of you to paste into your timeline.
4. Bring your journal back to class – we will need it!

- 10 section dividers that you can label
- Ruled notebook paper in the back of your notebook (loose - not spiral bound)
- 2 sharpened pencils with good erasers
- Red Pen
- Black Pen
- Highlighter
