Finally, this week, September 30th, we will tie dye our lab shirts! Make sure you bring a laundered (no fabric softener or fabric sheets) XL T-shirt to dye! Be sure to wear older clothes that are okay getting a bit of dye on them.
Think About Density!
Talk with your parents about Density. You did an awesome job creating rainbow layered liquids in class and then floating objects in the different layers. Looking at the picture above which liquid is MOST DENSE? Which is LEAST DENSE? How about the objects? Is the KEY or the DUCKY most dense?
