"MY COUNTRY PRESENTATIONS"
Each of the students in our history class will be doing an end of year "My Country Presentation." You have chosen your books - and hopefully purchased or borrowed them. You should start reading right away! Click here for the THE LIST OF BOOKS AND COUNTRIES THAT EACH STUDENT HAS CHOSEN.
Here you will find links to all of the resources you need to prepare step by step & week by week for your presentation! There will be homework weekly and your student will need your help.
1. RESOURCES YOU WILL NEED TO RESEARCH AND PREPARE FOR YOUR "MY COUNTRY PRESENTATION" - A list of resources you need and a calendar of due dates.
2. MY COUNTRY NOTEBOOK - A special notebook created just for you to help you do research on your country. In addition to completing the cover and all six pages of the My Country Notebook, you will chose ONE of the following pages to complete-

3. My Country Book Report - When you have finished reading your Historical Novel set in your country you will use this report form to write down what you have learned.
4. Worksheet to record Historical Fiction Summaries & Country Facts. - This is a tool you will use each week to record what you read and what you are learning about your country as you read. This does not have to be detailed or difficult - student or parent can write in it. When this is complete you will use it to complete #3 above, "My Country Book Report".
5. My Country Presentation Outline - This will help you plan your presentation. This form outlines all parts of the presentation and makes it easy to plan what you will say.
6. My Country Presentation Rubric - This tells how your presentation will be graded so that you can prepare well.
