1. Take out your Map of China that we made in class. Find the Himalayan Mountains. To the right of the Himalayas is a part of China called the Yunnan Province. In Yunnan is a raging river and a town called Nu Jiang where some of the most isolated people in the world live, hemmed in by the continuous mountains that form the Burmese - Chinese border. Watch this video of the people of Nu Jiang going from their homes to market.
