1. Great work outlining the parts of a novel this week! I would like you to think of a book or movie that you have enjoyed in the past and be prepared to tell us:
- Who is the main character - Protagonist?
- What did the Protagonist of your book or movie want more than anything else in the world?
- What was the Inciting Incident (the event that launched the main character on their journey)?
- What is the Climax (the high point of the story where the main character gets what w/he wants more than anything else in the world, loses what s/he wants more than anything else, or almost loses then gets what s/he wants)?
Cabinet of Wonders Project - Due date moved to December 21st!
2. We have made such good time on our other work, let's move our due date for our Personal Cabinets of Wonder forward to December 21st. That way you have no assignments over the holidays. This week you should plan to choose all of the items for your cabinet - remember, this should be at least 10 objects that represent you, tell us something about you, or show something that has been important or precious in your life.
3. Next week you will make sure all of your objects are displayed in your box and bring it to class!
