Medieval Market

1.  Read Chapters 32-36 in Crispin

2.  Print the worksheet in this link and Complete these questions about the chapters in Crispin we read in class and those assigned to read at home this week: 26-36.  

3.  In class, I handed out a notebook containing your Middle Ages Reader's Theater Packet (a copy is linked here - but you do not need to print it).  Read through the packet with a parent.  When you have read through the entire packet together, have your parent SIGN THE BOTTOM of  PAGE 14  to indicate that you have read through the assignment with them!  I don't want any parent surprised by a big presentation the week before :)  I know all of you will be working on your assignments faithfully every week

4. Complete Activity #3 in the Middle Ages Reader's Theater Packet for both of your characters. (Pages 5-8)   We discussed in class that you will FIRST complete the questions for information that is actually written in the monologue, on this first pass you SKIP the questions that are not answered directly by the monologue.

(Example:  if your character says, "I have just attained the age of 13." you would write 13 under #1Character age.  If no age is mentioned for your character you would SKIP #1 on this first pass only.  After filling in all of the information that the monologue state DIRECTLY then go on to the next step:

Go back and fill in the unanswered questions using your IMAGINATION, making sure the things you make up are both:

• consistent with your character and
• consistent with what you are learning about the middle ages.
