4. Watch this Video on Ancient Rome. Don't let it confuse you that they use different words for the 3 parts of Roman history - they mean the same thing as the names for the 3 periods we discussed in class:
Monarchy = Regal - the period of Rome being ruled by Kings
Republic = Republican - the period of Rome being ruled by consuls and a Senate
Empire = Imperial - the period of Rome being ruled by an Emperor and growing Rome to rule much of the then known world.
