1. Time to begin your REPTILE FLIPBOOK! Here are the reptiles you chose:
Nate - Python
Gianna - Chameleon- Anole
Caroline - Komodo Dragon
Maya - Cobra
Serenity - Rattlesnake
Victor - Alligator
Isaac - Gharial
Noah - Bearded Dragon
2. Find at least one reference book or one website with lots of information on your reptile. Bring the book or a printout of the first page of the website to class next week!
3. Click on this link and take a look at this PDF FLIPBOOK. Read the instructions. You will complete a flipbook by March 30th. This week you should begin researching your animal and create the first 3 pages - which are pages 11, 10 and 9 in the PDF of the flipbook!
- I will make the Cover (page 11) by changing the word ANIMAL in the banner to your animals name.
- You need to print a picture that will FIT in the space above the animal name. You will glue this on in class.
- Next fill in the Description box. You may print it and WRITE in the box or type on a document that you will paste on the space available on page 10 Description. Be sure to include pictures!
- Habitat - Print page 9 and mark on the map where your reptile lives. Then describe where they live - is it a lake, river, forest, desert, mountaintop?
4. Bring the 3 completed pages to class.
5. FUTURE
March 16th is Spring Break.
March 23rd - Complete the last 4 sections of your Reptile Flipbook and bring them to class.
March 30th you will bring your completed flipbook to class to share about your Reptile!
