1. Please bring your Plot Rollercoaster to class this week - filled out. All of you completed a Plot Rollercoaster with me in class about a month ago but last week it seems some of you were missing your Plot Rollercoaster. (Remember I gave you each a special story folder to keep your story writing materials safe. Look for that folder and I bet you will find your plot rollercoaster!)
Your Plot Rollercoaster is your PLAN for writing your story. It is like a map. If you are writing without your map you might get lost!
If you cannot find your Plot Rollercoaster please click on this link and print this blank one, complete it by filling in each box with what will happen in your story at that point. Here is a handout that explains the parts of a story that we have studied in class.
Bring it to class on Friday. If you have any questions about what should come next in your story write down your question and bring it to class - I can help you there!
2. Write 2-3 more paragraphs of your story - keep your Plot Rollercoaster with you while you do this to make sure you are following the plan you made!
3. Keep track of your story materials. Your final story will be due at the end of February.
4. When you are done writing your story you may start editing. But for now, finish your story!
